The introductory song for Vijay’s Mersal movie and some important scenes featuring Vijay and Samantha were filmed on the East Coast Road. Other scenes in Chennai were shot at the most popular Adityaram Studios. It is the ideal place, unique from its location itself. It facilitates a good place for making sets seamlessly. Art director T. Muthuraj had created a huge set for filming some popular movie scenes, and the famous star Raadhika was also a part of the shoot.
